We are live at the DSAG annual congress 2016 taking place in Nuremberg from 20 – 22 September 2016.
Business Transformation out of the socket? This main topic of this year’s DSAG annual congress sounds promising indeed. But realistically it’s not as easy as it sounds as it needs a coordination of all stakeholders to define a common IT strategy that considers all business requirements. It not only needs to include the actual situation but also to be open enough for tomorrow’s growth. Primarily this incorporates the coordination of business units and IT departments. Their strategic alignment needs to include the different requirements, goals and capacities. We are curious about the new possibilities of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 – even if many of the present tasks seem to be even more urgent than ever. We should avoid covering old problems with new technologies.
It clearly shows from many DSAG congress’ conversations and presentations that SAP Solution Manager 7.2 plays a central role for many customers here. That is because – through its coverage of the ITIL processes – it opens up possibilities of which we could only have been dreamed in custom specific developments. No matter whether it’s about the economical IT project management, the display of process hierarchies, the availability of ergonomical user interfaces or the integration of graphical models or even the possibility of utilizing SAP HANA as a technical database.
